We had a flat and had to change the whole tire but they didn't have the model in stock. They could have ordered it within 24 hours but we were on a tight schedule so we bought a winter one. It was quick.

Evidently, Mr. Emannuel Prudhomme was not a benefactor to these savings ($208 towing bill paid to daddy which was not disclosed by OK tire ) by virtue of the fact that he was just "passing through the area."

I see many locals here defending him and why wouldn't they? What concerns me is the way people passing through the area are overcharged.

I've read the other reviews on here and the one woman in particular looks like she gives every business a bad review so don't pay attention to her.

If there are 2 Subaru Outbacks in a scrap yard of 10 to 12 vehicles....is this just a coincidence ? I doubt it. LOL Is it a coincidence that both of these Subaru's disappeared yesterday after a bad small town review? I doubt that as well. This is all very suspect and I feel bad for the Subaru owner. (They got rid of both Subaru's this week after my wife's review) at the end of the day, we are still talking about how I feel ripped off for a gallon of anti-freeze from OK Tire Elkhorn.

I've had my vehicles fixed several times here over the years and I've always been treated with respect as a woman. I've never had to worry about being overcharged or being told that something needs to be fixed when it didn't. The owners and staff are honest decent people and have always done an excellent job.

Had my car worked on for a power steering issue caused from another shop in the city and these guys fixed it perfectly. If I can help it this is the only place I will bring my car to get work done on it as I know it will be done ASAP and done honestly and I can trust the workmanship. Furthermore it is a local business and who doesn’t want to support a local business.

If you may recall, Emannuel Prudhomme was the fellow from Quebec who broke down on the highway in a cross country trip in his Subaru, and posted his thoughts of OK Tire Elkhorn in a previous review. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but for the last year or more, I have seen more than one Subaru Outback in this business' open yard. OK tire does not own a junk yard and there are no more than 10 junk vehicles in his lot at a time.

*************When I first talked to the owner of this business, he explained how he passes on the savings of his towing connections to 90 percent of his customers. ( His dad owns the local towing company in the area)

My husband purchased a bottle of "Zerex" anti-freeze from this business. It was "Dex Cool" approved and ran us just under 30 dollars for 3.78 liters. A week later we were at Wal-Mart where we saw the same jug of anti-freeze for 10 dollars. I understand that the small business owner in small town Manitoba has to make a profit, but at what point does this become gouging? Shame on you OK Tire! I feel bad for the elderly who have no other options but to bring their vehicles here. 30 bucks for a gallon of anti freeze. Just WOW! Minor additional detail...they charged us for 4 liters but we only got 3.78 liters for 30 bucks lol, but hey, at 30 bucks a gallon ..who's splitting heirs? LOL Side Note: KM Whitfield thinks this is Sour Grapes but I didn't just cook this up at the local coffee shop. The post and and the accompanying picture is pretty self explanatory. At the end of the day, the Bickerton's charged us 30 bucks for a jug of coolant and I provided evidence to support my claim.

I was the person who bought the gallon of Zerex antifreeze for 30 dollars. At this point this is not what concerns me. What is very concerning to me is that they moved Emmanuel Prudhomme's Subaru from their scrap yard now that they have been outed through a legitimate review.
